Music and Rafting on Bighorn Sheep Canyon
Thanks for your wonderful comments about the last few newsletters. Rather than have me "publish a collection of these e- letter snippets" for release, I suggest forwarding them to people who you think would appreciate them. Saves on paper. Gets me out there to a wider audience who hopefully will check out the music at the same time. BTW, If you want an "Up Please" CD from VUS you should send a check now. We are down to the the last box. . .
I am joining Bob Hamel and Arkansas River Tours for a day of rafting on Bighorn Sheep Canyon on the Arkansas River combined with a BBQ dinner and an evening fireside concert. Spend the day with me on this exceptional whitewater river and after a delicous dinner, I will entertain you with a evening of music.(Can you tell I did NOT write this.) We need a minimum of 15 people to make this event happen. Trip date is Sat. June 24th. (depending on the # of people who sign up). The cost is $115 which includes a full day of rafting, an intimate concert, a BBQ dinner and camping at ART which is near Cotapaxi, Co. on Hwy. 50.
Also, there is a special opportunity for a small group (6-8 people) to do a 3 day raft trip on the Gunnison Gorge on August 19-21. This is a very exclusive wilderness trip in one of Colorado's most spectacular canyons noted for exceptional scenery, fun whitewater and awesome trout fishing. I will play music each evening in our intimate camp setting. Cost for this trip is $725. Contact Bob Hamel at 1-800-321-4352 for info and reservations or visit www.arkansasrivertours.com
