As
a result of the JT concert on Nov. 2nd, I've decided to
add a second CD release concert night the next evening see
below. A heartfelt thanks to all of you who are mailing
me checks for reservations. I can't tell you what it means
to me to get this kind of support. Blessings.
The new CD is done. "When Freedom Calls"
. There will be back to
back CD release Concerts. The first is on Fri. Nov. 2nd,
7-9 pm at
First Congregational Church, 30 E. St. Vrain. Reservations
requested. Send $15 to Joe Uveges, 222 LaClede Ave. CS CO
80906 for
a CD and free entry at the door. $12 for general entry with
no CD.
Special guests, Susan Rissman(vocals) and Jen Griffis (keys,vocals)

Sat. night. Nov. 3rd. High Plains Unitarian
Universalist Church, 1825 Dominion Way (6400 block of
N. Academy Behind 3 Margaritas, just past Lehman, take a
right onto Dominion Way, then another right following the
signs for the church.) 7-9 PM Same reservation info as above.
With KJ Braithwaite, Charlie Hall and Jim Sokol.
Olive Branch on Thurs. Oct. 18th with
special guest Patricia Parish. Special Guest on Thurs. Oct.
25th is Edward Keneski and Cahalen Morrison
Special Guests on Thurs. Nov. 1st. is Phil,
Volan, Jolleen Bell and
Lindsey Wiedman. I will NOT be performing at this show since
I have
a full weekend of CD release concerts ahead of me.
Sun. Oct 21st Colorado Springs High Plains
U.U. Church 10 Am service. High Plains has moved into
their new location. They have renovated the structure that
used to be the Mountasia Family Fun Center at 1825 Dominion
Way, just off Academy behind the bright orange 3 Margaritas.
If you live on the north end of town and are looking for
a remarkable community with U.U. roots this is a wonderful
place.
October 25th, 2007 I am not playing
this show, but Cliff Eberhardt is. House Concert downtown.
Potluck (doors open) 5:30pm. (Bring a bottle of wine or
a dish to share.) Concert 7pm. Send check made out to Cliff

Fest. He is a top notch performer and writer.
Friday Oct. 26. Black Forest, CO. I
will headline the Black Rose Acoustic Music Society's Friday
night event playing with Charlie Hall. I'm really looking
forward to this since Black Rose has become a regional fixture
on the acoustic music scene. Corner of Black Forest and
Shoup Rd. in Black Forest, Colorado.
Sat. Oct. 27th and Sun. Oct. 28th Monarch
Ski Lodge, near Salida, CO I've been invited to open up
the Monarch Lodge's winter season with an interesting pair
of events. I will play in the bar/restaurant on Sat. evening
from 6-10 pm doing my funky blend of original and cover
material. Then on Sunday morning, I will do an early morning
musical/spiritual show again in the restaurant area starting
around 7am. Lori Voss is the new manager/owner of the restaurant
down there and she has graciously invited me to come down.
If you'd like to book the night at Monarch just mention
my name. The room rate is $49 a night and that includes
a $10 discount for people who come to the show. (Ask for
Theresa.) Who knows. Maybe there will be snow by then!
